GALA also regularly produces and presents programs in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.

Three Faces of Latino Theater – Un nuevo frente: As the premier Latino theater in the Washington metropolitan area, GALA has established a network with two other leading Latino arts organizations in the nation. The Ibero-American Cultural Attachés Association (IACAA) was founded in 1976 by Latin-American plus Spain and Portugal´ Embassies to promote our art and culture in it’s multiple manifestations, establish strong connections with the other cultural institutions in the area and contribute in the dissemination and preservation of Ibero-American heritage and culture, past and present, to the public in the DC area.

Annually, the IACAA organizes the Ibero-American Film Festival, the Ibero-American Art Salon, the Ibero-American Guitar Festival and the Ibero-American Gala-Party.
