As we launch GALA's 2008-09 season, I am proud of our accomplishments of 32 years and exhilarated by the challenges and opportuniteis ahead. As the National Center for Latino Arts in the nation's capital, GALA is forging a dynamic path for the Latino artists of today and tomorrow - and so the parks fly!

Four our 2008-09 seaon we have focused on new rearely produced works that cross generations and speak to our evolving identities.  And GALita will produce two new plays for children that will enchante the whole family. GALA's ArteAmericA series will bring you our thrilling annual Fuego Flamenco festival, as well as an outreageous drag cabaret, "Martha Graham Cracker."
