What happens if I arrive late at the theatre for a performance?
Those who arrive after the show has started will be seated in the back of the venue, and may return to their reserved seats during intermission.
What should I do if I am going to miss my scheduled performance or need to exchange tickets?
You can exchange your tickets free of charge and reserve seats for another performance up to 24 hours before the performance originally scheduled. Call 202-234-7174 to exchange your tickets.
Are there any date restrictions on ticket exchanges?
The only restriction on ticket exchanges are for tickets to Noche de GALA and/or Press Opening, which occurs only once: the first Saturday evening of each main stage production.
What if I missed my show and forgot to exchange my tickets?
If you have missed the 24-hour notice deadline to exchange your tickets, you can still see the show on a space-available basis. To make these arrangements:

GENERALÂ INFORMATION.
Can I enjoy your productions even if I’m not fluent in Spanish?
Absolutely! GALA provides easy-to-follow English translations through a system of projected surtitles.
We choose only the best and most readable translations, often commissioning our own, then adapt each translation, line by line, to ensure a well-paced, concise, and accurate set of surtitles that perfectly complement the performances.
Don’t forget our exciting musical productions, which transcend all languages.
Is the theatre accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, GALA has 4 wheelchair accessible spaces and an elevator to transport people from the entrance to the lobby, and to the house.
Beyond GALA performances, how can I get involved?
GALA provides many opportunities for involvement, including acting, employment, internships, exhibiting, and volunteering. Please click here for more information.
