Canuto, an old Salvadoran rocker from Mount Pleasant (a neighborhood surrounding GALA in Washington, D.C.) has a radio show where he only plays the music he loved as a teenager. Suddenly, reminiscences of the past take him on a journey back in time to his childhood and the war in Central America. Rock merges with the landscape of his Salvadoran town and to the music of his ancestors. With humor and lightheartedness, this autofiction journey will take Canuto to the bowels of his country charmed by the music of his land and the expressive force of rock.
Canuto, viejo roquero salvadoreño de Mount Pleasant (la comunidad que además rodea a Teatro GALA) en Washington, DC, tiene un programa de radio donde solo coloca la música que él amaba cuando era adolescente. De ponto, las reminiscencias del pasado lo llevan a hacer un viaje hacia su infancia y al tiempo, hacia los tiempos de la guerra en Centroamérica. Con humor y desenfado, este viaje de auto ficción llevará a Gudiño hacia las entrañas de su tierra bajo el encanto de la música de su tierra y la fuerza expresiva del rock.
